  “No te dejar é ni te desamparar é ” Era ya medianoche cuando regresaba de trabajar, y durante el trayecto pensé en una persona muy cercana a nuestra familia quien se hallaba en un estado de salud muy grave. En aquel instante, volvió a mi memoria esa ineptitud que experimentamos frente a la adversidad.           En el camino seguí reflexionando en esta incapacidad nuestra, e imaginé en mi mente la escena cuando Jesucristo le dijo a sus discípulos si querían marcharse. Recordé entonces que el apóstol Pedro respon dió con dos declaraciones que, a mi parecer, son fundamentales en la vida de cualquier persona, sobre todo, por lo que expresan. La primera, en forma de pregunta fue, - ¿A quién iremos? – y la segunda a modo de afirmación, ¡Solo tú tienes palabras de vida eterna! –           Aunque el apóstol no enfrentaba tragedia alguna en el momento, sus palabras resonaron con tanta relevancia...

  It was midnight when I returned from work, but during the driving period a beloved family member, who was in a critical health condition, came back to mind. In that very instant, I evoked that ineptitude that we humans experience when confronted with adversity.           While driving, I continued revolving in my thoughts about this inability and I recalled the moment when the Lord Jesus asked of his disciples if they wanted to go away. I remembered that Peter answered with two statements, which in my opinion, are fundamental in the life of any person.
